Welcome back friends! This week we’ve got a short update episode as we celebrate our one year anniversary and prepare for a new series touching on Operation Chaos and Tom O’Neill’s book on the topic.

Welcome back to Awakened Exchanges! I’m your host Jay Rich and I’m recording this after a two month break, the longest in our short history, and I hope it stays that way. I say that as I also want to mention that this week officially marks our one-year anniversary here on Awakened Exchanges! Thank you all so much for the support over this last year and especially these last couple of months. It means so much to see that you’re still listening and sharing the exchange with others. For those that are just joining us now, I truly want to welcome you to the exchange. It’s all of you listeners bringing in new thoughts and energy to this podcast and community that was my goal in the first place. You truly keep my energy up and things moving forward, because you are the most important part of this podcast. Please remember that if you have any suggestions for topics or guests, I will continue to listen to the listeners, and I look forward to your emails, either from our website or direct messages on twitter @AwakenExchanges or Instagram @AwakenedExchanges. I hope you’re as excited to be here as I am to be back with you!

I’ve always tried to be vulnerable and open on this podcast, and I’ve spent the last couple of months working on trying to bring more order into my life as a whole. That meant getting Awakened Vapes squared away again, as well as trying to extricate myself from a past business venture before another year got away from me. After that, I took a little look at my life and tried to figure out where I was wasting the most time and how I could be more productive and fulfilled in my own life, while hopefully contributing something creative again. Trying to find a way to share interesting topics via this podcast really does help somewhat satiate that creativity craving , but it’s really in the exchanges where I think that energy flows. With that in mind, I’ve been working on a series that I hope will start airing next week with long-time friend of the podcast, Shawn Shumway coming back on for the discussion with me. That said, this week is going to be another quick solo update, as there is only so much time in the day and that time seems to be flying too quickly lately to fit in everyone’s schedule. Kind of weird to think about during a pandemic, but time seems to alternate between frozen and flying, but never quite passing in the way you’d like. Maybe that’s just me though.

Now, before we get to the update, here’s a brief rundown of our sponsors. First off, I want to thank all of you personally for your support. Just listening and sharing this podcast with your friends gives me a reason to keep providing the best content that I can. If you have the means and would like to contribute personally, please take a look at our Patreon page where you will get access to exclusive content and deals!
