This week I have the privilege of speaking with Ivan “Funkboy” Bodley! Ivan is a bass player and has been a long-time music director for the stars. He has performed with 52 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees as well as in 13 Broadway Shows, with many more accomplishments to come I’m sure!

Today’s guest is the Funkboy himself, Ivan Bodley. Ivan has performed with over 50 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and in over a dozen broadway shows. He’s been a bassist and musical director to the stars for over 35 years, and that was after he already had a successful career as a producer in the music industry. His story is beyond fascinating and I barely scratched the surface in our time together. His book, Am I Famous Yet? Memoir of a Working Class Rockstar contains an incredible amount of stories and anecdotes, I truly hope you give it a read. You can find links to it in the show notes.
